SpeeDefrag for Windows

It does what it said. Actually, this progam only starts to defrag after it reboot the computer. After the reboot, only the defrag is loaded (in a cmd window) and nothing else. Therefore it minimises the file needed to load and more files can be defraged. After it finished, it will reboot automatically (or shutdown depending on your choice) and everything back to normal. I never had any problem with this program.

Nothing does as its name. First time, I tried this software. It just restarted the system to my login screen, nothing special happened. Later I opened Windows Disk defragmentar and analyzed and came to know that my disk is like before. It did not defrag my partition at all. Moreover there is no help file to know more abt this product. So, I think it is just waste of time testing this software. Pros: When clicked on program, it started quickly as my pet. Cons: But of no use. It did not defrag my disk at all. No help file to know more about this software.

Warning!!. Please use with care and/or have a back-up. I used SpeeDefrag for first time, when I rebooted I only got a blank screen with the cmd window, nothing else. Freaked me right out, as my Win XP pro system has been running smooth as silk, now it had almost died. I rebooted into safe mode but couldn't do a System Restore,even though it was activated. I then restarted in Diagnostic Mode (MS Config)and things started to look normal again. A couple of programs I had deactivated had their settings changed, so something had happened at low level in the system, but now I'm relieved to say everything looks like its back to normal. PC was running smoothly before, so it must have been SpeeDefrag. I have now uninstalled and will not touch again. Please be careful. Thought I was going to have to new install. Pros: Didn't get that far. Cons: Almost killed my system.
